Intro into Us

💗 We are Jimmy and Shara Ybarbo, we grew up in church and have been serving the Lord since childhood. We both have a history in various ministries, Jimmy's main (but not his only) focus was to the needy, and the homeless - the forgotten and unloved; while my focus was to the youth ministry, foster kids, and fine arts ministry. We came together about 4 years ago, Jimmy has 3 daughters, and I have 1 daughter and 3 sons; altogether we have 7 kids, and 5 grandkids so far! When we married, we were in a different place, Jimmy had been through some things that were devastating and life changing; and I had experienced devastating loss; and that’s when we found each other. Together we found so much joy and hope, we were delirious in love. Then, when the dust settled and we really began life together - we quickly realized that we were both so damaged from our past that we were a very toxic combination. A Life of Restoration - An Intro into Jimmy

Jimmy grew up in church, just like many of you reading this, he learned at a young age about the love of Christ, and the Salvation that was available through Him. However, as a young man, because of many different circumstances, most that were out of his personal control, he chose another path for himself. After trying everything else he could think of, and never finding true happiness, he found himself staring right back at what he always knew was right, and he found his way back to Christ - he knew immediately that he was forgiven and accepted by his Savior, with open arms.  As much as he loved God and served him through many different avenues; over the years, all of the hurt, disappointment, and rejection - all of the things he thought he had defeated and turned over to God, began to slowly make their way back into his heart and mind.
